Over 15 years experience in the hearing industry

Our Team

Sabreena Sunner, RHIP

Director of Operations and Professional Practice Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner; Certified in Cerumen Assessment & Management, Tinnitus Care Provider- Holding Certificate from the International Hearing Society.

Sabreena started her hearing journey at a young age being a hearing aid wearer herself. Her career in the industry began in 2008 and she became fully registered in 2011. Over the span of her career, she has worked across the lower mainland with both corporate and privately owned practices. She has worked as a Regional Manager as well as overlooking the Audiological departments for various ENT’s (Otolaryngologists) across the lower mainland. Since 2013 she has invested a lot of time into volunteering as a Practicum Supervisor, as well as a peer mentor. With a passion to learn, she obtained her advanced certification for Cerumen Management with CSHBC. In addition, while she was facing the end of her pregnancy, she took on training for and completing her certification for the IHS Tinnitus Care Provider Certificate program.

Fun Fact, she passed her exam with flying covers while in labor, in between contractions. Through the student and peer mentoring process, Sabreena developed enthusiasm for Professional Practice and Standardization. This took her career along the path of working with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals and supporting various roles that ensure regulatory standards that prioritize public safety. When Sabreena doesn’t have her head buried in regulations or working in the clinic, you will find her spending time with her husband and daughter. She is often looking for an adventure to take her toddler on and their days are spent between music classes, dance classes, soccer games and swimming. She has been teaching her daughter ASL since she was 2 months old, and her daughter communicates with sign as well as speech.

My name is Peni Wilson and my Husband Barry Wilson as well as My Mother Sadie Ross received Incredible Support regarding their Hearing Problems from Sabreena when she worked at Connect Hearing in Port Coquitlam.

She always went above and beyond with her special interest in ensuring they got the very best service.
She was especially concerned and caring when it came to my Mom (who was in her 90’s at the time) personal needs in regards to her Hearing Aids.
